Biography Dr. Rivera-Kunz received her undergraduate degree from Maryville University in St. Louis and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Missouri of St. Louis-School of Optometry in 1996. She has been in primary care practice since 1996. Her special interest is in refractive surgery including Lasik, Advanced Surface Treatment and the Visian ICL. She is certified on our newest laser system, the Wavelight FS Femtosecond Laser and the Allegretto Wave-Eye-Q Laser. She is a member of the Americal Optometric Association, Illinois Optometric Association, the Southwestern Illinois Optometric Society and the St. Louis Optometric Society. She completed internships at the Kansas City VA Medical Center, The Koetting Associates in St. Louis and Williams & Associates in Denver.
